Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has issued a May 27, 2021 order that outlines the easing of restrictions and allows for the resumption of on site gatherings for public worship.

Subsequently, Diocese of New Westminster Bishop John Stephens issued a pastoral directive for the Anglican parishes in the Lower Mainland.  Until June 15, church buildings will be closed except for the broadcast or recording of services, with the exception of weddings or funerals with a maximum of 10 participants.  After June 15th, churches will be able to offer on site gatherings for up to 50 persons as long as physical distancing, safetly protocols, and contact tracing are maintained.  Safety plans previously approved by Diocesan authorities are to be reviewed and posted.

This means that St. Martin's will begin by offering Sunday services again at 10 am for up to the 38 person capacity of the worship area.  No pre-registration is needed at this time.  The option of linking in by Zoom and worshipping remotely with the community will continue for those who are not ready or unable to come to the building.
