As our facilities continue to open back up, we’ve been spending a little time in the office trying to make the church entry more tidy and welcoming. If you come in the doors, you might notice
1. The mail slots for parishioners have been relabeled and some hold requested offering envelope boxes. If you would like a set, please contact the parish office.
2. Several new display racks have information available, including a rack for “Ways to Give”, resources on “Truth and Reconciliation”, and a “Get Connected” display with an introduction to parish life and parish permission forms.
3. The box for Food Bank donations is now under the white table by the stairs. We will once again be able to accept items, or you can make financial contributions through the collection plate.
4. This week only: Lost and Found items are being displayed on the entry pew. Please take back anything you recognize before we donate the remainder to a charity.
As churches begin again to have on-site activities, we all have a role in inviting, greeting, orienting, and incorporating those who seek community. Do you have ideas of how to reach out to newcomers over the summer? Let’s have a conversation about what else is possible.
