Myanmar Crisis Relief Fund
November 15, 2017
The crisis in Myanmar has resulted in the influx of an additional 600,000 Rohingya refugees into Bangladesh since August 25th, 2017, the majority being women and children.
This has triggered a humanitarian emergency of such a scale that concerted international action is urgently required. Refugees and host communities in Bangladesh, as well as displaced people within Myanmar, are in urgent need of basic necessities such as food assistance, water, sanitation services, shelter, protection and health care.
From now until November 28th, the Canadian Government will match funds donated to approved charities. For a list and more information, please go to the Federal Government Donation page.
